Can Xanthohumol Protect the Brain? From Neuroinflammation and Critical Illness to Cognitive Decline

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Wojciech Dabrowski as a speaker at Polyphenols Applications 2026, taking place on October 8–9 in Málaga.

His lecture will focus on xanthohumol and the central nervous system, with particular attention to neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction and the mechanisms involved in cognitive decline and neurological disorders.

He will also discuss the current evidence supporting the protective potential of xanthohumol and the key questions that still need to be addressed before these findings can be translated into clinical applications.
